About Us

I came to Pendleton to visit and friend in 2009, never intending to stay. I had been working with an interior design firm in Vail, Colorado where the recession of 2008 hit with force. Looking to reinvent myself I settled on making small leather bags, not intending on it being anything but an interim project until I settled on something more permanent. Well one thing led to another and here I am 15 years later.

LLBevington is located in the heart of Pendleton on Main Street between A Piece of Pendleton and Alexander’s Chocolates. I design and produce leather vests, bags, pillows primarily, and occasionally placemats and table runners. I take custom orders and produce for the shop. Pendleton has an active spring and summer season and I try to have products available for our guests. My daughter Sandy, is a bag maker also, and together we try to keep the shop stocked, depending on custom orders.

I use primarily soft hides, deer, elk, buffalo, cow, lamb and sometimes use Tibetan lamb, goat hair or rabbit. Yes, we do fringe bags! Boy do we do fringe! Especially during rodeo months. I love doing pillows too. Its fun to do “home” projects to enhance someone’s home. I source hides from all over and always looking for some-thing “extra special”, something no one else has. All of my projects are one of a kind, although there can be similarities.

"A truly amazing place! Linda is an artist and can create custom works out of hides. The store also has small goods for sale by other local vendors. This shop is a must-visit in Pendleton. They make artisan goods."
